1 – We start by laying out the placement

2 – Mounting the indoor unit, running the line set

What Are Ductless Mini-Splits & How Do They Work?
A ductless mini-split is a special kind of heat pump that’s engineered to deliver air conditioning (and heating) to rooms, additions, and outbuildings where installing traditional ductwork would be impossible or cost-prohibitive. Instead of moving chilled or heated air through ductwork, ductless mini-splits use narrow copper tubing that’s filled with a refrigerant liquid to move heat energy between the space and the outdoor air.
Just like traditional heat pumps and air conditioners, ductless mini-splits have outdoor and indoor units that are connected by that copper tubing.
